DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support growing & successful Commercial Excess Casualty Production Underwriter
  • Candidate will support underwriter with new and renewal business
  • Ensure consistent quality work product for underwriting team

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of Experience as an Underwriting Assistant with an Insurance Carrier or MGA
  • Solid Experience as an Excess Casualty Underwriting Associate Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • Knowledge / Experience with issuing policies, quotes, endorsements & booking premium
  • Knowledge of ISO System
  • Casualty Excess Experience Ideal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
